Lunar New Year Knot Craft with Jingting In-Person
Auspicious Knot 吉祥结
Join us at the Putterham Library to make an auspicious knot to celebrate the upcoming Lunar New Year! All ages 5+ welcome.
The auspicious knot represents good luck, wealth and peace. It has seven wings, so it is also called the "Seven Circles Knot." It often appears on monks' clothing and temple ornaments. It is an ancient knot that is considered auspicious.
