NetSmartz: Advanced Online Safety for Middle and High School

NetSmartz: Advanced Online Safety for Middle and High School In-Person

The internet can be a wonderful resource, but it can also be a confusing and sometimes scary space to navigate. In this program, we will provide ways to help teach youth to be safer online, with the goal of helping them to become more aware of potential online risks and empowering them to help prevent victimization by making safer choices on- and offline.

This program is for tweens and teens ages 10 through 18 and adult caregivers. No registration required.

This workshop is being run in partnership with Kristy MacDougall, the Community Outreach Director at the Norfolk District Attorney's Office and Norfolk Advocates for Children. Kristy is a proud handler of Bailey, the Community Resource Dog, who loves to work with children and communities! She has a passion for spreading safety education to youth, caregivers, and professionals.
