Opening Doors to Reading: Accessible Library Materials for All!

Opening Doors to Reading: Accessible Library Materials for All! In-Person

Join us for this free event and explore resources that open up a world of reading and learning.

Discover how the National Library Service (NLS) makes books, magazines, and music accessible for people who cannot read traditional print. Learn about free resources, adaptive technologies, and the importance of equal access to information for everyone.

The National Library Service for the Blind and Print Disabled (NLS) offers free library resources—including audiobooks, braille, and adaptive reading technologies—to people who cannot use standard print materials. Join us at the Coolidge Corner Library for a presentation by Erin Fragola from Perkins Library, who will highlight how these services work, why accessible information matters, and how you or someone you know can benefit.
