Parent Support Group In-Person
Join us on Friday mornings for a six-session, weekly support group for parents/legal guardians. Build community through honest discussions of the joys and challenges that parenting brings. This group is intended for parents/legal guardians and their child(ren) under the age of one. It will consist of 6 one-hour sessions with a new topic each week. This group is facilitated by therapist and local mom, Michelle Visser. The dates for this program are: October 17, October 24, October 31, November 7, November 14, and November 21.
This program requires registration and has limited capacity. Click on the link below to register. Registering for this program indicates a commitment to attend all six sessions. Please do not register for this program if you will miss more than one session. If you miss a second session, your spot will be given to the next person on the waiting list. We understand that illness and emergencies occur – if an absence due to unforeseen circumstances is communicated to staff, it will not be considered a no-show.
Michelle is a Licensed Psychotherapist and Certified Early Intervention Specialist focusing on pregnancy, postpartum, and parenting. In addition to creating and facilitating courses for parents and birth professionals, she sees patients in her private practice. Michelle is also the mental health expert for One Huddle, a global on-line support community for expecting and new parents.
