SUMMARY:Dr. Rosie Helps the Animals: Book Reading and Stuffed Animal Vet Clinic Session 1
DESCRIPTION:Do animals get earaches? Sore throats? Stomach aches? Who helps 
 them if they can’t talk?\n\nMeet Jennifer Welborn\, former science 
 teacher and the author of Dr. Rosie Helps the Animals\, an award-winning 
 STEM picture book based on and informed by real-world veterinarians. 
 Following a reading from Dr. Rosie\, participants will get to diagnose and 
 treat a stuffed animal - bring a stuffy from home\, or borrow a stuffed 
 friend to treat! Each participant will receive a mini vet kit and 
 diagnostic/treatment sheet to take home.\n\nThis program is ideal for kids 
 ages 4-8 and their grownups. We will be holding two session of this 
 program\, at 2:30 and 4 PM. Free tickets are required and will be available 
 at the Children’s Desk 30 minutes before each session.\n\nThis event is 
 generously sponsored by the Brookline Library Foundation.
