Dr. Rosie Helps the Animals: Book Reading and Stuffed Animal Vet Clinic Session 1

Dr. Rosie Helps the Animals: Book Reading and Stuffed Animal Vet Clinic Session 1 In-Person

Do animals get earaches? Sore throats? Stomach aches? Who helps them if they can’t talk?

Meet Jennifer Welborn, former science teacher and the author of Dr. Rosie Helps the Animals, an award-winning STEM picture book based on and informed by real-world veterinarians. Following a reading from Dr. Rosie, participants will get to diagnose and treat a stuffed animal - bring a stuffy from home, or borrow a stuffed friend to treat! Each participant will receive a mini vet kit and diagnostic/treatment sheet to take home.

This program is ideal for kids ages 4-8 and their grownups. We will be holding two session of this program, at 2:30 and 4 PM. Free tickets are required and will be available at the Children’s Desk 30 minutes before each session.

This event is generously sponsored by the Brookline Library Foundation.
