Puberty Talks for Tweens & Caregivers

Puberty Talks for Tweens & Caregivers In-Person

Led by local educator Ana Maria Ramos of Familia Sex Talks, "Puberty Talks for Kids" is an interactive workshop for kids ages 8 to 12 and their parents or trusted adult. This workshop will address the physical and emotional changes that happen during puberty, providing tools for children to face this stage with greater security and confidence. The workshop is designed for kids to learn alongside at least one parent or caregiver, in an open and honest way. Families will learn:

  • Sexual and reproductive anatomy - the body parts and their functions
  • The physical and emotional changes that can happen during puberty
  • How to take care of your body
  • How to continue open conversations at home
  • Answers to all your questions about puberty changes and sexuality

Capacity is limited to 30 families, comprised of one child ages 8-12 and their trusted adult(s). Please sign-up using the registration form below, to reserve your spot!
