Collage Bookmaking Workshop In-Person
In this two-hour workshop, you will learn how to make a small artist book from a large single sheet of paper. First, you will create a collage on the paper, using materials provided by the library and/or materials you bring yourself. Then, you will learn how to strategically cut the paper and fold it into a book.
Materials that you can bring include junk mail with interesting pictures, catalogues, old magazines, old maps, discarded drawings, kids' art or any other kind of paper you have that you find interesting. We'll share all the materials that participants bring. This is a fun exercise, and no art skills or experience is required.
Space is limited to 15 people and registration is required for this event.
